Ms. Ella remained stable throughout the day, Praise God! If she can maintain through the night, Dr. Kays may try taking her off ECMO in the morning. Right now this is our hope and our prayer; that our baby girl will keep strong through the night and the following days.

If she can be stabilized off ECMO, she will most likely have surgery this week, either Thursday or Friday.

Please pray fervently for our baby girl. These two things, removal from ECMO and the repairing surgery, are the biggest hurdles. There are more to come, but these two are critical!

We’re praying for ya, little baby girl!

Thank you, Jesus, for giving Ella strength and health up to this point. Please grow her little lungs and prepare her for the next step. Surround her special family with your loving arms giving them assurance always that she is in Your hands and that You are holding her, even when they can’t. Grow her so that she can praise Your Precious Name! Give her caregivers Your wisdom to know when Your perfect timing is. We put our trust and hope in You! Give her parents courage to face tomorrow and rest tonight. Thank you for everything You’ve done for her already: for hope, for no more seizures, for stability, for growth, for freedom from infection, for smooth procedures, for caring staff. Keep her through the night, strengthen and grow her…she’s Yours!
