Ella had another good night – – she remained stable.

Her chest tube is working but she is actually losing fluid too quickly. So, they are trying to balance the fluid loss with an increased saline drip. They want to see a nice and steady reduction in fluid over the next several days.

Ella will have her first outside visitor starting tomorrow. Grandma Eusey is coming to visit!

P.S. Baby Evan is doing well – – thanks for asking! We don’t see his parents too often since he is in the NICU II, but we did see his Mom yesterday. Evan’s liver is working better; his biliruben count is lowering steadily. But the best news is that he gets to go home tomorrow! Thanks for the prayers!

Ella’s other friend, Jordan, was born 8/1/07, and moved down to the NICU II the other day. She is progressing really well and is just starting to try feeding. Pray for her too!

Thinking about you three 🙂 Ella is looking good! If there is anything we can do for you here in Denver, don’t hesitate to ask. You have more important things to do.

Little Ella, you are so beautiful! When I see your little face on my computer screen I just wish I could reach out and touch you! Can’t wait to hear what Grandma has to say about her grand little granddaughter!

Josh & Tina,
I arrived back home in Frostproof yesterday and saw your website for the first time. You both are truly amazing. I admire you so much for the faith you have placed in God. I have been very blessed by meeting you. You have been a real inspiration to me. We know that God is in control and has great plans in store for Ella and Jordan. Keep trusting as I know you will. Our thoughts and prayers are always with you. I look forward to seeing you when I come back on Monday. Love and prayers, Mary Lou

Why is it that water retention and chubby thighs are sooo cute on babies?? Too bad it can’t be as cute and attractive on we adults!! We’re so glad Ella’s a fighter! Hang in there peanut.
