but Ella is doing good =). Super Nanny Kelly was kind enough to take on watching Ella all day, and tonight in fact, so that Tina and I could finish up our move. It was a cold wet day in Denver, and we’re absolutely exhausted. I’m writing this at 1:30am local time, and Tina is asleep on the floor next to me.

The move is pretty much done except for some cleanup at the other house. We have a lot of unpacking and such to do at the “new” place though. I can’t believe how much we’ve been able to do in such a short amount of time, and really, credit is due to all the people who pitched in to help!

We’re still hoping that Ella will be discharged on Monday. If we’ve learned anything with Ella though, nothing is for sure.

Ella is working up to bolus feeds and continues to do well in this area. Hopefully the blood work we do in the coming days will just confirm what we’re seeing clinically…a happy, comfortable kid.

Going to wrap this up so we can get some sleep.

Enjoy the pictures of our sweet little Bun!

So glad to hear your move went well and that the Jehovah Jireh provided the hands you needed. I’ve been praying for weeks about this move as I know others have and am rejoicing for God’s blessings. I’ll be praying that you have enough hands to help you unpack as well. If I lived anywhere close to you I’d be there in a heartbeat. Speaking of heartbeats, Ella looks like she is doing wonderfully. I’m sure she’s ready to go home as well. Will continue to pray for you daily and I’m just amazed at all God does in you, through you and for you. He is awesome!

Ella, You sure are a lucky little girl to have so many people praying and helping your Mom and Dad move so you can come home soon. I am going to the house in Lone Tree today so that the cleanup crew can get it ready for the new tenants. I probably won’t get a chance to see you today and might just see you at the other house when you are out of the hospital. Kelly thank you again for all your help with Ella during this move you are terrific. Love,Grandpa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was so good to spend the whole day with Ella yesterday, and overnight went really well.
I can’t believe the transformation I’ve seen just in the last 2 weeks in her clinical behavior–I have no doubt that she’s considerably better! Praise God!

Lamentations 3:25-26
“The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, the one who seeks Him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”

It requires a lot of letting go to get to the place we go to find enough stillness to rediscover that God is God–not just our best friend, but our Abba, father, Savior, and the One who is a powerful entity capable of vaporizing humanities’ existence. He brings peace, hope, stillness, tranquility–hopefully VERY soon! 🙂 What a great God He is.

I’m so glad that the move is almost over. I’m also grateful that people offered to help you move, what awesome friends you both have. I wish I lived closer so I could have helped you guys. Hopefully Ella will be released from the hospital tomorrow so she can join both of you.
Lots of love, Dawn
Take care,
Dawn

And to think, it was so beautiful when I was there this week! Sorry it didn’t hold out for the move. Fingers crossed that the Bun comes home tomorrow…but only if the house is ready for her. 😉
Love you guys, and miss you already.
