Dear friends and family,
On Monday, April 2nd, 2007, we went for our 20 week ultrasound and found out that we were having a baby girl. On Wednesday, April 4th, we found out that she has a high-risk birth defect called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). God is using this time to stretch us and test our faith, but we are holding tight to His promises.

Ella, You are looking good with all those different “Frog Covers” that you got for Christmas from Grandma West. I am at work and it’s still snowing lightly. I think it will get sunny in the next couple of days. Maggie and Manny said to say hello. Have a great Sunday. Love,Grandpa!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Sweets! Wow, I have forgotten what snow looks like when it is more than just a dustin : ). I am glad that you and your parents are enjoying some r &r it is so under valued!!! I pray and believe that 2009 is going to be a year of great strength, wisdom, change and healing. I believe in you and your doctors and your family. I believe in your parents.
