Yes…we’re crazy parents.  We went to go see Ella at 3:30am!  Her stats and blood gases continue to be stable (Praise God).  We’re not out of the woods yet though.  This is a 10 mile journey and we’ve only gone a mile.  Thank God for the distance we have traveled safely.   I pray that Ella will continue her current track, giving her the opportunity to heal so she’ll be better prepared for the path ahead.

Be strong my baby girl…be strong.

Thank you both so much for continuing to be so faithful to posting here so that we can feel as if, in some tiny way, we’re there with you. Our hearts are breaking with you for baby Jonathan. Take care, you guys – we love you.

I echo the Williams comments. Thank you for keeping us in the loop. May God continue to bless you in this difficult journey. Tell sweet Ella her cousins can’t wait to meet her — they are praying all the time as we believe God really listens to the little hearts. xoxo

Thank God for such wonderful news. May God continue to watch over Ella. My heart is heavy for Jonathan’s parents, but know that he has gone to be with his FATHER… knowing that Jonathan is the blessed one!

Love you guys!

So what goals does she have to achieve before she can have the main surgery?

I had a friend in college that went through the same thing when she was born and the surgery caused her to not have a belly button. So, when I knew her she was picking out the belly button she wanted to have put back on or in. I pray that we get to that point soon. Your strength through all of this is amazing. You are an inspiration.
