Dear friends and family,
On Monday, April 2nd, 2007, we went for our 20 week ultrasound and found out that we were having a baby girl. On Wednesday, April 4th, we found out that she has a high-risk birth defect called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). God is using this time to stretch us and test our faith, but we are holding tight to His promises.

Last few days I have not been able to see initial pictures. The circular black circle stays on loading. I any one else having this problem? Is It my computer (or the operator?)

Here in Thornton, CO the wonderful photos of the Bun and her beautiful Mommy come through just fine. And as usual they make me smile!

Wow! Just got caught up on all the last few days of activity! So glad that her surgery ended up so well – what a relief! It is amazing how the body can compensate when things don’t work as they should. My niece with congenital heart disease (now 15!) has had a few of these procedures, and each time we were all astounded at the ways the body finds to move blood around when something is not working like it should. Hope all 3 of you get a nice restful Sunday – you have certainly earned it!
