I was about to delete the email I received from a friend back in April when I decided to see if you were still in the hospital. Our prayers go out to you and your family. She looks amazing and I’m so happy to see how big she has gotten. Faith is a wonderful thing.

Sharing your journey as a family has brought my husband, myself and our three sons to our knees for your sweet family. We have been inspired, encouraged and blessed by watching and reading of your faith journey. I can’t tell you the number of times while I have been sitting and the computer crying and praying that one of the boys would join me in some version of a prayer (they are twelve and twin six year olds). We have never met, we are around the world from you, we cover you as you all sleep, and the medical staff while they keep Ella at night. We are praising God for Ella and for your commitment to God the father of us all. Blessings on you, and get the rest now cuz with that baby comin home you are gonna need it! OH, LOOK AT YOU!!!!!!!(I’m shouting out loud here)! I’ve had tears streaming down my face for the last 5 minutes as I look at Ella with her mommy and daddy. The last picture of her obviously just SO happy made those tears just stream!
The lord has answered so many prayers in the days following Ella’s birth. Through Ella and your family many have learned patience, faith, hope when you done hoping and best of all……that yes, the lord works miracles when you allow him to be in control and rely on the faith that draws you closer to him. Thank you for bringing all these in to my life, as they have caused some amazing changes in my life and I will be forever grateful!!!!!!!!!!!
Blessings to a wonderful family

Baby Ella is truly one of God’s miracles!!! The parayer quilt and prayer bear and small quilt from our church is on its way(it may have arrived already). Each knot in the quilt represents a prayer said for baby Ella. I know that you believe that prayer can work miracles and Ella is an example of that. Chris and I have our own “miracle” child named Faith. When I was 19 weeks pregnant I was diagnosed with very low amniotic fluid. The perinatologist did not know what the cause was. First they thought our little baby had no kidneys. Then they did an ultrasound echocardiogram to check for a congenital heart defect. It turned out that her kidneys were developing fine and her heart was perfect. They also thought the low fluid could be a placental problem but she was growing fine. The doctor put me on immediate bedrest and our goal was to get our little Faith to 25 weeks. Well after our church made a prayer quilt for her and I slept under it for 5 weeks, the amnio fluid level came back up to the normal range. My doctor could not explain how that happened but we knew that it was a miracle of the Lord!!!
I carried her until 36 weeks when she was delivered by an emergency C-section because I was hemmorhaging from placent previa. Our little miracle was completely healthy and is about to turn 5 years old in March. Every day I praise God for her.She is bright, healthy, and happy!!! Your little Ella is a fighter and she will become stronger everyday. The breastmilk is the absolutely best nutrition she can get so hopefully she can thrive on it. You are in our prayers everyday and God’s blessings to all of you!!
