Well, I cannot believe that the Bun is turning 2 years old tomorrow. So much has happened in our lives over the past two years. It has been filled with many ups and downs. Along with the trials, there have been the blessings too, including the birth of Ella Renae.

On another note…yeah, I think it is time. It has been amazing to keep a blog post every single day since Ella has been born. We hope that it is an incredible gift to her. I know that it has already served us well as far as record keeping with milestones and her health status. But, I do think it is time to dial back on the posts. It doesn’t mean that we will not post, but it has been quite the task to stick to it every single day. I thought we would take this step last year, but then felt prompted to continue the daily posts. So in a weird way, I’ve given all of you 1+ year notice of this change!

I hope that many of you will continue to follow our journey. If it is easier, you can sign up for emails so that you are notified whenever we post a new entry. This way, you won’t have to guess. But there will definitely be a post for tomorrow since it is officially the Bun’s 2 year birthday! Woo-hoo!

Psalm 147:7-11 (The Message)
Sing to God a thanksgiving hymn,
play music on your instruments to God,
Who fills the sky with clouds,
preparing rain for the earth,
Then turning the mountains green with grass,
feeding both cattle and crows.
He’s not impressed with horsepower;
the size of our muscles means little to him.
Those who fear God get God’s attention;
they can depend on his strength.

I most certainly will continue to check in on your girl. I was introduced to Ella by a friend asking for prayer for her on the day of her big surgery. My own littlest girl was 11 months, teething and not sleeping, and wanting to nurse constantly in the middle of the night. What perspective Ella’s journey brought to my momentary difficulties. I remember those hot summer nights, rocking my girl and praying with all my heart that same day would come for you. God is SO GOOD!!

EXCELLENT! I know this blog has spoken to so many people, but it’s also required so much from you and Josh. It’s great that folks can sign up for notifications. Hope party plans are coming along. Hard to believe the Bun is 2!!! Thank you God!!
Love you – T

Josh and Tina, you are all in my prayers, and I know this will be a great year for both of you! God is good, and He has marvelous plans we know not of! I am not sure if I will know how to start my day without a few pics of Ella. I check in on the Bun every morning. My grandaughter was born on August 27, 2007 with CDH and went to live with Jesus on September 12, 2007. Following your daily posts has ministered to me in ways that you will never know. Thank you so very much for allowing me to enjoy your sweet Bun. I pray God continues to bless your sweet family.

As many have said, we are totally obsessed with the Buns smile starting our day each morning however it is certainly burned in my mind. I was quite surprised, as well as pleased, when you continued to share your journey with us each day of Ella’s second year. Look forward to each post in the future! Love you all and continue to pray for you as the Bun grows and grows!! Fran

I too, was introduced to Ella by a friend asking for prayer. Ella has touched so many people and shown us basically, the face of God in her eyes;her smile has brightened my life every day. Here’s wishing you a special and blessed HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Ella.; may God always bless you. I look forward to updates and pray that you both, Tina & Josh, continue to know the guiding hand of God as you travel on your journey with this incredible little girl.

Happy Birthday, Precious Ella! I am so excited to see your birthday pictures and celebrate with you! You are a miracle, little one, and your amazing journey has touched so many hearts. We love you, and we will follow you through your mommy and daddy’s blogs whenever they are posted. I am praying for a blessed year of growth and new feats and improved health. God loves you, and so do I!

Josh and Tina, you are amazing parents, and it has been a privilege to be on this journey with you, to lift you up, to hope with you, to celebrate the triumphs with you, and to taste the tears with you. Your blogs have been amazing, but I truly understand not doing it every day anymore. I am looking forward to when you do post and will continue to lift you all up to our Lord and follow your journey!

God bless you, precious little family!

Happy 2nd Birthday to Ella! 🙂 How neat to have her first two year chronicled through all the wonderful pictures and posts you have done. I barely have a few pages in the baby books filled out for my two girls. 😉 We will continue to follow Ella and your family. Many blessings to you all.
