Dear friends and family,
On Monday, April 2nd, 2007, we went for our 20 week ultrasound and found out that we were having a baby girl. On Wednesday, April 4th, we found out that she has a high-risk birth defect called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). God is using this time to stretch us and test our faith, but we are holding tight to His promises.

It was a good day with Ella, although she seemed to get rather bored easily. It wasn’t until late in the day she was content doing one thing (cuddling) for a long period of time. But that’s ok 🙂 It was great to see her smiling and enjoying her tummy time so much! She was so content, and it’s such a huge workout for her, so that was great that she tolerated it so well. ‘Night Mom and Dad! 🙂

Miss Ella, I’m so proud of you! Look at how well you’re holding yourself up! You go girl!! Give mommy a big sloppy kiss from Aunt Terri and tell her I miss her tons. Wish her luck on her first day back to work. You’ll miss her, but she’s going to love it..and you’ll have Super Nanny with you during the day. What fun!!
