Apparently, the highlight of the day was Ella rolling from her belly to her back! That is a first and an exciting step of progress. She can’t roll from her back to her belly quite yet, but it is exciting that she did a version of rolling over. When she did it, Kelly clapped and made a big fuss which made her laugh.

Yes, on the way home from work I tried to get some Christmas shopping done. I am guilty of not having any gifts ready….except for my Dad’s puppy! Speaking of the puppy, my Dad decided to name her Maggie.

Maggie and Manny will be coming over for Christmas which should be fun. I’m still holding out hope that Manny will not take too much longer to snap back into his old-self. He is lethargic and anti-social. Right now, he’s not to into the puppy either; he snarls at her when she comes close and wants to play. I know this is a normal response when a puppy is introduced, but I think he is also still trying to figure out what happened to Joslin. I really think he misses her.

I can’t believe that Christmas is just a few days away. Grandma West is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, but we will see if the weather cooperates. Hopefully, she will not have any major issues. We’re excited to see her and spend the holiday together.

Ella, What great news with the rolling over. Keep up the steady progress and you will catch up quicker than anyone thinks. The new puppy has a name and we will call her “Maggie”. She is a cute little just like you and she is doing well. Manny has been having a hard time adjusting to her and Grandpa is working on both of these beautiful little friends. A news flash!!!!! just before leaving for work tonight mister Manny decided that he wanted to play with his sister Maggie. Just a beginning but a positive start and a relief for Grandpa. Just to have Manny start to be himself again is warming to my heart. See you on Christmas. Tommorow is shopping for the dinner day. Love,Grandpa!!!!!!!

Great job Ella! Dave has also been learning how to roll over and he also has his own style of crawling, but more worm like. The poor guy is so pudgy he can’t get off the ground yet. I hope you have a very Merry Chrismass. Tina don’t feel bad, I’ve also only purchased 1 item. I think today I will be able to get some of them.

Way to go Ella-Bun!! Keep up the progress. Merry Christmas to the whole West family. I’m sorry to hear about Joslin, dogs become a huge part of your family and it is hard to say good-bye but Manny will get used to Maggie soon. She is adorable (just like Ella). Your always in our thoughts, hearts and prayers.
