Dear Josh,
I am so sorry that baby Jonathan is not doing well. The burden of your own childs illness is a heavy load, and then naturally you are concerned about baby Jonathan.
You have watched his progress from a far, yet you have been very, very close.
There are simply no words that I can type here to lift that burden from your heart, ease your mind or remove the pain and sorrow that you are feeling for those friends with whom you have bonds beyond our understanding.
So I will give thanks and pray for Ella’s continued progress.
The Lord is full of kindness and mercy, and I will pray that he will lift the burdens and ease all heavy hearts.
Take good care or yourself while Tina is away.
God Bless

Thank you for sharing with us all the news, of Ella, of Par, and of Jonathan. It is an honor to be asked by God to help lift the burdens of parents in pain, even ones we have never met. We pray for steps of progress, be they large or small, for all three little ones.

Hang in there Bro. As you know we are never alone, especially now. Our prayers will reach out to baby Jonathan. One last thing. It is so good to miss your wife…just think of life if you didn’t miss her.
Rick
PS
Good morning baby Ella from Richard. Rain woke him up early which in turn woke me up early.

I am so sorry that Jonathan is having such difficulties. Dearest Father, we lift this little one to you. We know you are holding him in Your precious hands and we ask for Your healing touch, guidance for Dr. Kays and loving support for Jasmine and Chris. In Christ’s name – Amen. Hold tight Josh – she’ll be home soon. Praying that Ella continues to heal and strengthen and the trip home comes soon. Try not to worry about who will be in CO to help her. The Lord will open those doors and the right people will be behind them. I don’t know what research the two of you have done but CU Medical Center and Children’s have a very incredible group of nurses and doctors. Our daugher-in-law is a Physician Assistant for CU Med Center at the Stapleton facility. If we can assist in any way just let us know. Prayers and hugs – Get some rest, Josh – Lord Bless – Steve and Joan

which in turn woke me up early. Josh, I am in my office with tears coming down my face. I can’t imagaine the pain you are going through not only for your sweet girls recovery but also for the wonderful friends you have made at the hospital from the nurses to other parents. We will say some extra prayers today for baby Jonathan. I too am glad you miss your darling wife- Rick is right, it sure beats the alternative!
Big hugs from rainy California.

Even a tuna/catnip party doesn’t quite take the place of a wife, does it? Sorry it’s been a heavy day for you; so hard sometimes to carry the burden of a heart of flesh rather than one of stone, even tho it does beat the alternative. As we have prayed before, we’re continuing to thank God and praise him for his character in which we trust when the days are difficult, while also asking for healing and relief. Such a relief to have Ella in a better, stable place and that you’ve had good times with her; we are also in continuous prayer for Jonathan and family; hard as it is, I sense that it’s a privilege for the West’s to be there for the other families. We love you. XOXOXO

Josh it is so hard to see others in the same way you and your family could have been. We will pray for Jonathan and his parents.
Perhaps you and Tina may have to stay in Florida for the first few months of Ella’s homecoming. I don’t have the answer but God does. He will lead you to an answer for your little family. We hope you can take a bit of a rest while Tina is away. You are almost there. She will be in your arms tomorrow. I would find it difficult to be away from Jimmy. I know it is difficult for Tina to leave her babies. The most important part of her life. We will pray for an answer to your delima. Our love to you always. Aunt Char and Jim
