Ella had a rough night. She was very touchy and unable to keep her saturation levels.

However, we have good news to share! It does appear that the meds are helping with fluid reduction. To give you an idea, this was her fluid output the past few days:

8/27 – 759 (SVC procedure completed)
8/28 – 892
8/29 – 678
8/30 – 724

Her fluids for 8/31 was 440 – – that is nearly half! Praise God that this medicine seems to be working. So, the staff has cut back significantly on the amount of fluids they have to replace, in order to keep her hydrated.

However, Ella does not seem to be having a good morning – – she is not able to maintain her stats. So, they have increased the oxygen on the ventilator to 75 (she was at 50 previously), just to give her lungs a break while we still focus on the fluid reduction.

Our friends, Brendan and Lesli, are here to visit from Atlanta. We are going to visit Ella and will post later!

p.s. Go Gators!

Praise God that the medication is working to reduce the fluid. She does look great!! I pray that Ella will be able to get comfortable and that her stats would level out. Keep up the fight, Ella! Have a great day and continue making baby steps towards recovery.
May peace and comfort be upon all of you.
Josh and Tina, enjoy your company.
I hope you all have an awesome weekend.
Give Ella a big hug from us and kiss her beautiful face. I’m so glad the swelling went down.
Love, Melissa

Good Day Tiny Family, We are pleased to hear of your progress. Go Ella Go.Thank You Lord Jesus for the medication and skill that help this baby along her difficult task in life. We are in a heat wave here in California. For the last week we have been experiencing heat in the triple digits and humidity near 60 per cent. We have a swamp cooler but it doesn’t work in humid weather. Our normal humidity ranges from about 15 percent to 30 percent normally. If I didn’t know better I would think we are living on the East Coast. Perhaps Florida is the same. Today it is 112 degrees in the shade. Jimmy has Glaucoma surgery on Thursday and is doing fine. We pray for your success. We love and miss all of you. Good Luck on the fluid reduction. We are praying things go well. Lol Aunt Char and Jim
