UPDATE (1:30am EST): Just called on our baby girl. She’s doing better then last night, not as good as earlier, but good enough for us to get some rest. Praying for peace and comfort for our baby girl.
Dear friends and family,
On Monday, April 2nd, 2007, we went for our 20 week ultrasound and found out that we were having a baby girl. On Wednesday, April 4th, we found out that she has a high-risk birth defect called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). God is using this time to stretch us and test our faith, but we are holding tight to His promises.

Tina and Josh, Awesome blood gas!!!! Praise the Lord. He is so good. Ella looks very peaceful tonight. I love the video I will continue to pray for a wonderful day tomorrow full of hope and newly restored strength for all three of you. WOW!! What a truely amazing journey you all have been on. Little Ella is just beautiful. She is so sweet and looks so strong. I pray that she is able to sleep peacefully and mom and dad too. Thinking of all of you and your mission in Florida tonight(late). Just letting you all know it rained in Temecula twice today and it was such a relief after all the heat. It made me think of you all and your struggles. (The relief when things are going well). Tina, my sympathies to you, in having Mastitis TWICE! OUCH! The video brought tears to my eyes! The songs at church this morning were about healing. Jesus healing the masses. I prayed for Ella. I rejoice in her progress. Hey, if you get a moment… google this… Nathan Green, The Great Physician. It’s a piece of Christian artwork I saw years ago. I think it might bring you comfort before Ella’s procedure tomorrow.
