Thank God it is Friday. This means that I will have a chance to catch up on sleep soon. By the time Friday rolls around, I am wiped out. Numerous nights in a row of uninterrupted and/or short sleeping hours wear on me.

This was evident today as I played with Ella during tummy time. Josh walked downstairs to grab a drink and couldn’t resist picking up the camera. Apparently, Macy thought that we were interesting too!

The photo below is once Ella’s physical therapy session was over and her belly was full of food. One thing to note, she has made great progress this week with PT. I think having the therapist come to our apartment makes a huge difference for Ella. She just seems to be responding better in her own environment. We are blessed that Barbara decided to take us on for another few weeks while we are still in Gainesville, to give Ella as much attention as possible.

Things are slowly coming together for making our way back home. Only 21 days until Josh and Doug leave for the drive to Colorado and only 29 days until we walk in our front door.

Feeling Soooo tired is Sooo hard! Thank goodness the weekend is here and Josh can let you sleep a little. I don’t think you really catch up until they’re five!!!! Remember your days without kids and all the sleep you got! That was suppose to stock up for now – but it doesn’t. We are counting the days until you go home with you!

I have been following Ella’s progress since I learned or heard about her through Liz Rich. Rust Rich is my second cousin. Philip Andrew’s great grandmother is my Mother’s sister. My husband is a retired pediatrician and has been very interested in following Ella’s progress with me. We are of the Reformed Presbyterian faith and my husband is a deacon at the church. I was raised Methodist and Baptist. Isn’t it wonderful how the Lord is in control of our lives?!!!!!
You seem like such wonderful Christian parents giving God all the praise and glory for precious Ella.
We are both about the turn 71 and have 8 precious grandchildren and four children (all wonderful gifts from God). You three are an inspiration to us and our children and I want you to know we appreciate your dependence on God. It must be so rough being up still so much of the night! Your attitudes are so wonderful and God gives you the grace and stamina to face each minute of each day. May we all continue to grow in grace and wisdom of our Lord and Saviour. You are a precioous family and we pray for you each and every day. We pray that your move back to Colorado goes well. I know your families will be happy to have you back home.
Love in Christ, Nancy Wootton

Ella holds her mommies nose; my grandaughter Ella Rose sticks her finger in her mommies ear! You just never know what’s on their little minds! She looks wonderful.
You’ve come so far…….what a blessing and inspiration. The lords work in our lives in so awsome, and I hope that as a result of his work in your lives he touched many others who did not know of his incredible love for us.

God Bless
