I had a great first Mother’s Day.

It started with sleeping in…ahh, beauty sleep. Much needed! Then, Nurse Janet invited me out to brunch with herself and some other moms for a Mother’s Day brunch. It was nice to get out and socialize. Plus, the french toast and mimosa was nothing to complain about either!

I’m just so thankful for Ella Renae. I’m so thankful that God chose me to be her mom. And I’m so glad that I’m having a chance to experience motherhood. I spent many years thinking that He had other plans.

By the way, if you did not have a chance to see it, you will want to check out yesterday’s post. Through pictures, it really puts into perspective the introduction of motherhood for me.

Thanks for all the support and prayers, and Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!

Happy (late) Mother’s Day Tina! I can feel where Josh is coming from. Abby keeps me in awe of her pretty much every day. God has blessed Josh and I with a couple of amazing women.
We continue to pray for you three and to give thanks to God for everything He’s done. Your journey has been an incredible testimony and Abby and I have been blessed to get to meet you, Ella and Josh.

I nominate you for Mother of the Year! You are such an amazing woman. It really blessed me to see all the pictures from the past year. You’ve come so far, through so much struggle and yet you remain beautiful, full of grace and the posterchild for endurance as a mom!! Many blessings to you in your upcoming transition back to CO!!

Happy Mother’s Day! I cried and cried while looking at yesterday’s post. First time motherhood is hard, but wow…what a journey it’s been for you!

And I’m so glad you have little Ella and that you finally get to take her home.
