What’s that you say?(Day 361)

Yes, one year ago today…Josh and my Dad were in the car with 2 cats headed to Gainesville, FL. They were taking shifts and driving straight from Colorado to Florida. I stayed at home with our 2 dogs, hoping and praying that Ella would hold out for her birth in Gainesville, FL.

And now we are here, one year later…and we have a Bun! It feels like forever ago and yet, just like yesterday.

We went to our house that is on the market for rent. There was a lot of yard work to be completed. When we were driving to the house, it was 100 degrees outside….very hot for Denver! Josh sucked it up and got to work while I played inside with Ella.

Praising God every day for how far we’ve come, and for blessing us with this incredibly sweet girl. Only 5 more days ’till her 1st birthday….wow.

Ella, Your Mom has reminded me of my trip to Gainsville with your Dad. Oh what a difference a year makes. We are so lucky that you waited for a little while so you got to Gainsville too. I wanted to post an early happy b-day wish, as I’m heading off to church camp with our youth group today and won’t have e-mail access until well after the Bun’s BIG day. WOW!! 1 year old! What a blessing you guys have been to so many over the past year. Love you tons – T

We just found out on Tuesday that our daughter has a serious Right sided CDH. I am 21 weeks, overwhelmed, and well… I nearly read your entire site. It was very informative and it was nice to see how much support you had. We are also thinking of going to Dr. Kays. Would love to talk…. please email me directly and let me know if that would be okay.

Wow – I can’t believe Ella will be having her first birthday! I just caught up on the last month and a half – so glad that you all are getting settled in, and that you have had so many positive experiences! Great to see that Ani and Katie visited you while in town! Tina – we need to catch up and have one of our two hour long phone calls…. I miss our little chats and your great perspective on things. I”ll give you a call this week! Love to all three of you!
